Monday 8th June:
1. Friday 5th June Answer:
Only one person was actually travelling to St. Ives - you - look at the first line. The poem mentions meeting a man and the others, but 'meeting' could mean t hey were coming back , or just waiting by the side of the road.
If you assumed that everyone was travelling, and you added up everything then you might have the answer 2,802 - but you have counted the sacks as travelling, which could be argued as not sensible.
2. Monday's Challenge -
Draw a path from each numbered house to it's garage - BUT no path can cross another path.
3. Maths Monday Arithmetic (Not Red Group)

Friday 12th June:
1. The answer to yesterday's devious puzzle is below
Challenge 1 -
This was a very tricky one - so it was important to have a go and see how you would think about it - sometimes the right answer isn't always important, but how we think about solving it, is: a bar really helps to start
4 men take 6 days to dig a ditch, how long will it take 3 men to dig a ditch half that size?
Thois is much easier - ITS IMPOSSIBLE - A HOLE IS A HOLE - YOU CAN't HAVE HALF A HOLE (has anyone ever asked you to dif half a hole?)
