Today's challenge touches upon a branch of mathematics called topology: can you draw the following shape without lifting your pencil from the page.
There are lots of solutions(how many can you find?) but can you meet the ultimate challenge:
Additional Challenge : draw the shape without the pencil leaving the paper, AND not passing straight across the centre dot from corner to corner - if you hit the dot in the centre of the rectangle, you need to change direction..

Here is a great linking bridges cahllnge. There are 3 levels to choose from, easy, medum and hard.
Each page shows several islands that are all numbered. The challenge is to connect all of the islands with bridges so that the number on the island corresponds to the number of bridges going to it or from it. If do do it correctly,, you can walk from any island to any other island.
Additionally, other rules must be followed: no bridges
can intersect( cross each other) or cross over islands.
